White Lady

Tribute to the White Lady, Queen of Hallownest, from my Higher Beings - Hollow Knight Mythology series.
I wanted to give the idea of "extention", suggesting the Queen's body being far more huge and extended than what you could tell. To do so, I gave hints of her tendrils, both above and below her, trying to hide most of her body, guiding the viewer into discovering little by little the creepy eldritch goddess.
Character design wise, I kept the original concept idea of a giant root, exaggerating the (presumed) inspiration to the mandrake root and suggesting her attitude to reproduce and proliferate in the shapes of the human parts of her body.
